For the second straight practice, the Ravens are without two prominent starters on offense: WR Zay Flowers (hamstring) and LT Ronnie Stanley (toe).

It’s looking like Baltimore will be without Flowers for a second consecutive game.

Fantasy Impact:

Flowers is moving toward the doubtful side of questionable and should not remain in lineups without a meaningful Friday upgrade. Bateman would again operate as Baltimore’s top wide receiver, with Walker, Wester, Moore, and Sarratt fighting for scraps. Andrews should remain one of Lamar Jackson’s primary targets and carries additional volume upside if Flowers is inactive.

A.J. Brown reportedly progressing well in ankle recovery

Patriots wide receiver A.J. Brown is “moving pretty well” in his recovery from a high-ankle sprain, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Schefter said the original recovery estimate was six to eight weeks, but Brown currently appears capable of returning closer to the six-week end of that range. He cautioned that Brown still has work ahead and characterized six weeks as an estimate, not a firm timetable.

Fantasy Impact:

This is modestly encouraging for Brown’s rest-of-season outlook, but it does not support planning around an immediate Week 6 activation. He remains a strong IR stash, with Week 8 looking like a more practical target if Schefter’s six-week estimate proves accurate. Doubs, Hollins and Douglas should continue handling the majority of New England’s WR opportunities in the meantime.

Sean McVay uncertain whether Puka Nacua will play in Week 3

The Rams are not practicing today (they’re just having a jog-through) and Puka Nacua will not participate. McVay said he’s not sure whether Nacua will play in Week 3 but that the team is not concerned about it being a long-term injury for the WR.

Nacua’s Sunday-night kickoff creates another difficult lineup decision unless his status becomes clearer before the early games. Adams remains a high-end starter either way. Ferguson and the Rams’ fringe receivers would receive more opportunities if Nacua misses a second straight game, but none of the secondary wideouts currently projects as a dependable fantasy start.

Bills WR D.J. Moore practices in non-contact jersey Wednesday

D.J. Moore is practicing today and in a red non contact jersey after leaving last Thursday’s game with a shoulder injury.

Don’t see Keon Coleman or Ed Oliver. Joe Brady said that some players who aren’t out there today could end up playing.

Fantasy Impact:

Moore’s return in a non-contact capacity is an encouraging first step, but it does not guarantee that he will be cleared for Sunday. His ability to handle contact later in the week will be more instructive. Kincaid and Shakir would receive the strongest target boosts if Moore cannot play, while Coleman and Palmer would have opportunities for additional wide receiver reps.
