Patriots HC Mike Vrabel says WR Kayshon Boutte (hamstring) is day-to-day. Vrabel indicated that Boutte likely won't practice early in the week, and that WR Kyle Williams will get more opportunities.

Fantasy Impact:

Boutte has been on fire over the last three weeks, before leaving Week 9's game against the Falcons. Boutte, from Weeks 6-8, was averaging only four targets a game, but had turned that into 10 catches for 223 yards and four touchdowns in that three-week span. The day to day tag gives him a shot to play in Week 10, but it sounds like the Pats will ease him back into practice as the week goes on.

Tests confirmed that Packers TE Tucker Kraft did in fact tear his ACL as feared, per source.

Fantasy Impact:

Kraft was averaging a 4-61-.75 line this season for the Packers despite only averaging 5.5 targets a game. Kraft scored six touchdowns in seven games, not counting the Packers Week 9 contest where he left early. Musgrave, who was actually drafted ahead of Kraft, should take over as the team's TE1. The good news is Musgrave jumped right in and caught three balls for 34 yards in Week 9, and should still be on many waiver wires in just about any format. Musgrave has struggled to stay on the field and missed significant time in 2023 and 2024 while falling behind Kraft on the depth chart. Kraft owners who can't nab Musgrave will likely have a tough time replacing Kraft's fantasy production, so be sure to check out our top waiver wire pickups article this week.

Could Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray be traded?

So I poked around. And I learned there are too many moving parts for a Murray trade to happen now. Not many teams would be willing to even consider it. Murray, even without a no-trade clause, would have to be willing to embrace the change of venue. His contract would be an issue. Having fewer suitors would reduce any leverage he’d possibly have for a through-the-door extension. So, despite the current existence of an awkward vibe between Murray and the Cardinals (dating back to the ill-advised “homework” clause in his 2022 extension), he won’t be going anywhere this season.

That said, an offseason trade is very realistic. If not likely.

This is just the opinion of PFT's Mike Florio, of course. But perhaps the best point made is this isn't the current regime's choice for QB, and when a new regime takes over they tend to want their guys in place. As the story said, HC Rich Gannon is already in his third year and likely won't make the playoffs again. Florio said teams like the Dolphins, Jets, Steelers, Browns, Raiders, Vikings, and Saints could all be looking for new QBs for next season. Florio said a trade before Tuesday's deadline appears to be too complicated, which makes an offseason move more likely in Florio's opinion.

Commanders WR/KR Luke McCaffrey broke his collarbone on the opening kick return last night, sources tell The Insiders.

Fantasy Impact:

It looks like the end of the season for McCaffrey, who was flashing a bit after being a third round pick in 2024. McCaffrey had 11 catches for 203 yards and three TDs this season. It's just more bad news for the Commanders in what looks like a lost season, especially with QB Jayden Daniels' elbow injury against the Seahawks as well.
