No timetable for Vikes QB Sam Bradford

Mike Zimmer wouldn’t indicate how long Sam Bradford’s knee injury will keep him out.

Maybe it will be a week. Maybe it will be six weeks. The Minnesota Vikings likely know more than they’re choosing to disclose, but it’s difficult to place a timetable on how the human body heals. The franchise is now at the mercy of the swelling in Bradford’s left knee and, subsequently, how quickly it will go down.

Fantasy Impact:

Although there is no official word, something you can seemingly take from the story is Bradford is no sure thing to play in Week 3.

Fantasy Impact:

This pass-catching group is incredibly thin behind Harrison and McBride, so either of them missing time wouldn't look great for Kyler Murray. No reason to panic yet but we'll keep an eye on the sophomore WR throughout training camp.

Free Agent WR Keenan Allen visiting with Chargers

Six-time Pro Bowl WR Keenan Allen is visiting the #Chargers today, and there is mutual interest in a potential reunion.

Allen, 33, played his first 13 NFL seasons for the team before spending last season in Chicago. Now, he could be back in L.A.

Fantasy Impact:

A reunion would make sense to bolster the WR depth, but with McConkey's home in the slot, we wouldn't expect a huge fantasy output from the aging veteran. He's best left on waiver wires in all but the deepest of leagues if he does indeed sign back in LA.

Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield (hand) misses practice, day-to-day

Bucs QB Baker Mayfield won’t practice today after suffering a contusion on his throwing hand Thursday, per source.

Mayfield underwent scans as a precaution and ruled out a more significant injury. He’s day to day.

Fantasy Impact:

We don't want to see Mayfield miss anytime, but it's great news that it's not more significant. We don't expect this to linger into the regular season at this point, so we should continue to consider him a top-10 option at the position.
