Eagles RB Saquon Barkley continues to trend in the right direction for tonight against the Cowboys while there are positive signs for G Landon Dickerson and rookie TE Eli Stowers as well.

This is been the trend all along so owners who took a chance waiting on Barkley for this week's game look like they should be in good shape. The Eagles offense has been a struggle this season but Barkley should be heavily involved tonight given the team is missing DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks at WR. Pierce has been the RB1 with Barkley out, but hasn't been impressive. The team recently signed Mitchell and it's possible he's active tonight and gets some touches as well.

The Las Vegas Raiders dropped their fourth straight game on Sunday, falling below .500 for the first time this season and raising questions about when No. 1 overall pick Fernando Mendoza might see his first start.

Following the 35-21 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, Raiders coach Klint Kubiak wasn’t ready to make any definitive statements about Kirk Cousins, Mendoza or the rest of his squad.

"We have to go watch the film," Kubiak said, via ESPN.

Kubiak went on to say, at this point, the team is, "thinking about everything to fix our problems, how to fix our issues in the red zone, in the third quarter, personnel [and] scheme. We've got to talk about all of it." Several weeks ago, we reported a CBS Sports story about a possible timeline the Raiders could make a QB change based on their schedule getting more difficult. So far, that timeline looks to be accurate as Vegas is now 3-4. Our report speculated the earliest it could happen would be Week 8 against the Jets. The story also pointed out that while Cousins struggled in the first half, he has 16 TD passes and the running game hasn't done much, while the defense is getting run over. A move to Mendoza likely isn't going to fix all of that. But it seems logical that at some point this season the team will make a switch. It will be something to watch heading into Week 8.

Patriots wide receiver A.J. Brown’s return to action the last two weeks has not resulted in the kind of production that the team was hoping to see.

Brown has been targeted with 16 passes from Drake Maye, but they’ve only resulted in six catches for 75 yards. His first game back featured multiple drops and the results have sparked some concern about whether Brown is struggling to fit into the offense after missing four games with an ankle injury.

That concern is not shared by head coach Mike Vrabel, however.

Vrabel thinks it's a matter of getting into a rhythm offensively, according to his quote on the story. The story did point out Brown's return in Week 6 against the Jets was followed by a Thursday night game in Week 7, so having over a full week heading into Week 8 could help. Fantasy owners are hoping so, and may have to make some tough decisions if drops and/or lack of fantasy production continues after that.
