Olszewski doesn't make our WR list while guys like Meyers and Sanu remain behind Edelman and Harry. With three weeks to go before the start of the season, keep an eye on Olszewski.

The Patriots have remade their receiving corps since the beginning of the season. Julian Edelman, Phillip Dorsett, Mohamed Sanu, Jakobi Meyers and Gunner Olszewski now are the team’s receivers on the 53-player roster.

They could add a familiar face this week.

N'Keal Harry, the 32nd overall choice this spring, is eligible to return from injured reserve after missing the first eight games. He returned to practice two weeks ago.

The story said Harry is a candidate to take over the X receiver spot for Josh Gordon. The Patriots have until Nov. 4 to activate him to the 53-man roster or he reverts to IR for the remainder of the season.

The Patriots are trading the Falcons for wide receiver Mohamed Sanu in exchange for a second-round draft pick, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday morning.

The Pats have been trying to get Sanu for a while according to various stories. He's a real solid addition to the receiving group, and if anything, it puts a dent in the fantasy value of Dorsett, Meyers and Harry going forward. Sanu had 50 catches and 650 yards receiving each of the last three seasons with 33 catches and 313 yards this season. It's another nice target for Tom Brady.

For the Falcons, it could mean a bump in snaps and production for Ridley who was playing on about 71% this year, while also opening the door for more time for guys like Hardy and Gage who look to be next up on the Falcons depth chart.

Harry can't play until Week 9, and with Gordon not on the field it could be Meyers and Dorsett have bigger roles behind Edelman leading up to Week 7 against the Jets. Recently re-signed Watson could be an option this week with LaCosse likely mising a few games.

The Patriots have a short turnaround before playing the Giants on Thursday night and it looks like that will make it difficult for wide receiver Phillip Dorsett to be in the lineup.

Dorsett injured his hamstring during Sunday’s 33-7 win over Washington.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the injury is considered “minor,” but adds that Dorsett’s recovery timeline is week-to-week and that suggests Thursday will be too soon for Dorsett to get cleared. Meyers is looking like a potential add heading into Week 6.

The New England Patriots continue to struggle with their depth at wide receiver.

Phillip Dorsett left New England’s Week 5 matchup against the Washington Redskins with a hamstring injury.
