Kubiak concerned about kicker Brown

Texans coach Gary Kubiak admitted “there's some concern there” when he was asked about kicker Kris Brown's struggles.
Brown had a chip-shot field-goal try blocked by the Seahawks — his third of the season — and he missed a 48-yarder as time ran out in the first half.

He also miss-hit the second-half kickoff.

“It's a little bit like some of the other things wrong with the team,” Kubiak said. “He's erratic at times, and obviously he's get to get his consistency (back).”

Brown, the last of the original Texans playing, missed field goals that could have forced overtime against Indianapolis and Tennessee.

With 16 field goals made in 24 attempts, he's on track to finish the season with the lowest percentage of his 11-year NFL career.
