Jets WR Jamison Crowder (COVID) could play in Week 1

Jamison Crowder could play in the Jets’ season opener Sunday after testing positive for COVID-19 last week, head coach Robert Saleh said Monday.

Crowder is vaccinated, meaning the veteran wide receiver will need two negative tests 24 hours apart this week to be eligible to play Sunday against the Panthers.

Fantasy Impact:

The story said Saleh added that Crowder’s positive test was an isolated incident with no other close contacts among the team. He also said no other players presently are dealing with COVID issues after returning to the team’s practice facility in Florham Park. The Jets had a weekend off ahead of the opener.
