Gase says "everything looks like it's trending in the direction" for Sam Darnold (mono) to play Week 5.

Fantasy Impact:

The Jets play the Eagles in Week 5 after a bye in Week 4. Darnold has been back in the building for over a week now so the news continues to be positive for the starter and it looks like he'll be able to go in a couple of weeks.

The Saints officially listed QB Derek Carr (left hand/concussion) as doubtful for Sunday vs. Washington. Jake Haener will make his first NFL start.

RB Alvin Kamara (illness) is off the injury report and good to go.

It would have been an easy click for a Kendre Miller week if Kamara were forced to miss, but this puts the kibosh on that. Fire Kamara up as an RB2 this week in a game that may feature him even more than usual with no Carr.
