Cowboys WR Michael Gallup suffered a torn ACL in Sunday's loss to the Cardinals.

Obviously, his season is over and he won't be around for the Cowboys' playoff run, which could possibly begin against the same Arizona team they just lost to. Gallup had three catches for 36 yards and a touchdown and finishes the season with 35 catches for 445 yards and two touchdowns. Very unfortunate timing for him too as he is set to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason. He should be back for the start of next season. It will be interesting to see if that's back with Dallas or with someone else.

Ezekiel Elliott (knee), CeeDee Lamb (concussion), Tarell Basham (chest) were all full participants in today’s practice.

Cedrick Wilson (ankle) did not practice for second consecutive day.

Good news for the Cowboys, especially with Lamb and the news Cooper may have to miss Thursday's game because of COVID symptoms. Machota pointed out the Cowboys WRs vs. Saints could be Lamb, Gallup, Brown, Turner and Fehoko.

Cowboys WR Amari Cooper (COVID-19) is back in building but "still not feeling the best," coach Mike McCarthy said. Still has a cough. "To be determined" whether he'll practice today. "My gut would be if he doesn't practice tomorrow, I don't see him going to the game."

Cooper is not vaccinated and still has symptoms. He was required to miss two games over a 10-day period but because he's still not feeling well he could miss a third game as a result. With Lamb back in the fold after a concussion, he would likely be the team's WR1. Gallup is more of a big play threat while Wilson could be more of a WR2-type with Brown also mixing in.

Ezekiel Elliott (knee) practiced fully while CeeDee Lamb didn't practice due to his concussion.

Elliott's injury didn't look good on Sunday against the Chiefs, but he was eventually able to return to the game so his full participation is a great sign. He'll be good to go against the Raiders.

Many figured the quick turnaround would mean Lamb would not play on Thanksgiving, but news out of Dallas Tuesday said Lamb was doing well and the team said there was a path to suiting up after he was able to attend meetings. However, this DNP may not be a good sign for Lamb and Thursday's game. Gallop and Wilson would be the team's top WRs with Amari Cooper (COVID) already out and Lamb in question.

The Cowboys will be without two of their top WRs for Week 12, Amari Cooper (COVID) and CeeDee Lamb (concussion).

Lamb suffered a concussion in Week 11 against the Chiefs and Rapoport said the timing likely prevents him from getting back on the field before the slate of Thanksgiving Day games. Rapoport added that's not official as of yet, but four days would likely be too quick of a turnaround for exiting the league's protocol. Meanwhile, Cooper's COVID window takes him through Week 12's game. Gallup and Wilson look to be the team's top-two WRs with TE Schultz likely getting involved as well.

The return of Gallup could push back an emerging Turner who had two TDs and a blocked punt on an otherwise dreadful day for the Cowboys offense. Gallup is a deep threat who could help to open things up and add another weapon to the rest of the offense that struggled for the most part in Week 9 against the Broncos.

Cowboys GM Stephen Jones told 105.3 The Fan in in Dallas/Fort Worth that "he doesn’t think it’s likely that Michael Gallup will go against Minnesota, but it’s 'right around the corner.'"

This is good news as the Cowboys could be at full health by Week 9, so long as Dak Prescott's calf is doing better.

Gallup returns to practice and Dallas has three weeks to activate him from IR. His current timetable isn't certain, per source, and according to the tweet. It's no sure thing he plays Sunday, the tweet went on to say. But it's still good news for an offense that's already really clicking.

Gallup was having a solid game as the third passing option prior to the injury. Cedrick Wilson replaced Gallup and is the likely candidate to do so as long as Gallup is injured.

Gehlken went on to tweet that all three Cowboy WRs can play from the slot, which will add a new wrinkle to the offense. As Gallup said, corners won't be able to follow anyone and will have to change up the defense. Gallup could have some later-round fantasy value with his ranking of 49th and an ADP of the ninth round in 12-team leagues.
