Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold is dealing with what the team described as a "very unique soft-tissue" injury that is not expected to sideline him long term.
Related players: Drew Lock, Jalen Milroe
The story said the Seahawks released a statement to local reporters Monday explaining that Darnold's hip joint is unaffected. The team called it a "short-term injury," but said there is no firm timeline for Darnold's return. The story added sources previously told ESPN's Adam Schefter and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport that Darnold is expected to at least miss Week 2 at the Arizona. Perhaps another sign the injury is short-term is the team hasn't brought in another QB, and it looks like Lock will start with Milroe as the backup if Darnold does have to miss Week 2.

Caleb Douglas ran 32 routes and was targeted seven times. And this wasn't a five-catch effort predicated on quick throws and screen passes; he is functioning as one of Miami's primary downfield threats.
Related players: Malik Washington, Chris Bell, Kevin Coleman
We knew someone had to catch the ball in Miami and if you followed 4for4.com news this summer you know there was a lot of positive press about Douglas. The Miami offense struggled overall, which is going to make most Dolphin players tough to trust in fantasy lineups, but Douglas is a name to watch in the early season at the WR position. Washington led the way with eight targets and Bell, who had some injuries this summer, had two targets and is another name to watch in this offense.

LaFleur said Jeremiyah Love wasn’t really on a snap count off his ankle injury on Sunday; the usage between he and Tyler Allgeier was more game flow.
It's hard to imagine the Cardinals not at least trying to keep an eye on Love's usage in Week 1 coming off an ankle injury that left everyone unsure if he was even going to suit up Week 1. But the other factor is Allgeier is a pretty good running back too. Allgeier had 17 carries to Love's 11 in Week 1. Until there is a trend more one way or the other, both backs will come with risks and look to be more flex options in your lineup. The Cards will play the Seahawks in Week 2, which make both backs especially risky for lineups.
