Cowboys to use 3 backs this week?

While Jason Garrett treats questions about possible game strategy as if they are threats to national security, running back Marion Barber is not so careful.

Garrett, the Dallas Cowboys' interim head coach, said Wednesday that he wanted to see where Barber is in his rehabilitation from a groin injury, and if he's ready to go against the Arizona Cardinals on Christmas Day.

Barber wasn't exactly expansive on the subject, but said that after missing three games, "I'm playing."

Fantasy Impact:

This could be a situation to stay away from, although against the Cardinals there should be a lot of opportunities. But with three backs in the picture there's only a limited supply of touches for each. It's bad timing for fantasy owners as this is a great matchup, too, against the Cardinals who pose one of the worst rushing defenses in the league. Keep an eye on the situation up to game time, which is unfortunately Christmas Day so you may have other things to do that day. It may be better to go in another direction.
