Corey Clement best running back so far in Giants training camp

Giants RB Corey Clement has looked like the best running back in camp, according to Zack Rosenblatt of NJ.com. "Friday, he had one more carry than Booker in team drills (six to five) and is clearly the more elusive player, while Booker seems to prefer to seek out contact," wrote Rosenblatt. "Clement at one point evaded defenders and burst upfield for what would’ve been a gain of 10 or more yards."

Fantasy Impact:

Rosenblatt put some water on the Clement blaze by stating Devontae Booker is still the main back-up option behind Saquon Barkley. Booker and Clement were both free agent signings and are direct competition for touches. The winner of this competition could also start early in the season for the Giants with news of Saquon Barkley potentially out for the first few weeks on 2021.
