Chargers ESPN beat writer Eric D. Williams, when projecting their 53-man roster, believes Melvin Gordon will report before Week 1.

Fantasy Impact:

This is the first positive news we've heard in a while surrounding the Melvin Gordon holdout, but it is still a guess on Williams' part. But it is also a more informed guess than we are privy to. Williams doesn't go into his thinking, unfortunately, so we still need to be wary of a lengthy holdout.

San Francisco 49ers running back Isaac Guerendo plans to play Thursday night against the Los Angeles Rams despite his sprained foot, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Guerendo, who is listed as questionable, insists he "feels good," sources said.

Fantasy Impact:

We're projecting Patrick Taylor as the next man up in the 49ers' version of running back roulette *if* Guerendo is forced out, as he easily has the most familiarity with the team. Abanikanda can be stashed if that's not the case, but shouldn't be in starting consideration if Guerendo does indeed miss Week 15.

Otherwise, consider the fourth-round rookie a fantasy RB2.
