Browns RB Kareem Hunt to resume practice

Kareem Hunt’s debut with the Browns has officially moved one step closer.

The running back has been permitted by the NFL to rejoin the team and begin practicing with them Monday.

Fantasy Impact:

Hunt will be allowed to return to game action in Week 10, when the Browns host the Buffalo Bills. Besides the suspension, Hunt is recovering from sports hernia surgery. Chubb should still be a safe fantasy play as he's fourth in rushing even after a bye week.

Talked to CeeDee Lamb. Has a cut on his foot that required stitches.

Fantasy Impact:

We learned earlier Lamb was dealing with a foot injury but reports said he was being held out of a joint practice with the Chargers as a precaution. The tweet went on to say Lamb wouldn't say how it happened and he just begrudgingly said clown stuff. He could miss some more time but it shouldn't affect his status for Week 1.

There wasn't any other details other than it wasn't a sports hernia surgery, as reports yesterday indicated he had a hernia issue. The good news is Carroll would add, "we've got a chance to get him back quickly." Walker is missing key time in camp, however, so Penny will likely take a bulk of the work with the first team.

This is coming from a Packer report so it perhaps has some extra meaning to it. The tidbit went on to say: "He plays well beyond his years and even beat Jaire Alexander for an easy completion along the sidelines which basically never happens. Olave had a big completion against Douglas as well."
