Browns receiver Rod Streater is out for the year with a broken neck suffered in Sunday's 38-14 loss to the Chargers.
Streater, signed after the Browns traded Josh Gordon, was injured early in the first quarter covering a punt. He had seen an increase in snaps and was set to become more of a focal point of the offense as injuries piled up at wide receiver. He did not record a catch this season. Team doctors expect a full recovery and the injury does not require surgery.
