Sammy Watkins is listed as questionable by the Chiefs for Monday night’s game against the Rams. He didn’t practice on Friday or Saturday because of a sore foot. “We’re taking that day by day,’’ coach Andy Reid said. “We’ll see how he does as we go.’’
With Watkins not playing last week and being downgraded this week in practice from a limited participant to not practicing Friday, those with shares of Watkins should prepare not to have him Monday night in Los Angeles. With Watkins sidelined last week, Demarcus Robinson and Chris Conley only received four and two targets, respectively, in Week 10. Neither is a reliable fill-in option.
KC TE Travis Kelce - Week 19 Fantasy Football Outlook
Week 19 vs. Indianapolis Colts
Travis Kelce finished 2018 as fantasy's leading tight end scorer. He was second in the position in receptions (1336), second in receiving yards (1,336) and second in receiving touchdowns (10).
We see no reason for a slowdown this week against the Colts as Indy allowed the third-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends in 2018. The Colts gave up four 100-yard games to the position, which led to the team giving up the most receiving yards (1,194) to TEs. Start Kelce with confidence this week.
