Two Jaguars receivers who missed the first three preseason games, Mike Sims-Walker and rookie Mike Thomas, returned to the practice field Sunday.
But is it too late for Sims-Walker, who sprained an ankle in a scrimmage three weeks ago, and Thomas, who's had a nagging hamstring injury, to have an impact early this year?
All coach Jack Del Rio knows right now is that having two receivers in the mix who haven't played much in the preseason will complicate the final cuts.
"Unfortunately, we've had a couple of guys we were excited about in the spring that haven't played a lot," Del Rio said. "I think that, probably more than anything, makes it difficult, so we'll have to do our best."
