Redskins strong safety LaRon Landry had an instant impact last night in the Redskins' 18-16 loss to the Cowboys. Landry recorded four tackles and forced a fumble in the first real action he has seen since Week 10 of last season.
"It was like riding a bike ," he said of his return.
Landry missed the first part of training camp still recovering from an Achilles’ injury that cost him the final seven games of last year. And then on Aug. 19, he sustained a hamstring injury that kept him out of any preseason action and the first two regular season games. Although the stats don't show it, Landy showed impressive closing speed, hitting ability and instincts. He will only get better as he gets his feet back under him.
When healthy, Landry is a top IDP player.
