ESPN - [Full Article]

FB Jason McKie, released by the Chicago Bears on March 16, will sign a free agent contract with the defending Super Bowl champions, according to a source familiar with the situation.

Chicago Sun Times - [Full Article]

Bears RB Adrian Peterson could miss a game or two with a sprained MCL in his right knee. Linebackers Pisa Tinoisamoa (right knee) and Hunter Hillenmeyer (rib) are expected to be ready to go against the Falcons.

''I'm expecting all of the guys to play right now,'' Smith said. ''We haven't ruled anybody out. So I'm pretty excited about us having all of our guys ready to play next time we go.''

If Peterson misses only one game, the Bears could go with only two running backs in Matt Forte and Garrett Wolfe knowing that fullback Jason McKie could fill in as an emergency option. Running back Kahlil Bell is on the practice squad.

Florida Times Union: Jaguars FB Greg Jones (ankle) was held out of
Friday's practice while DT Tony McDaniel (toe) practiced in a
limited capacity. Jones is questionable while McDaniel and TE Greg Estandia - who worked at full capacity Friday- are listed as
probable on the injury report. ... Chicago FB Jason McKie
(quadriceps) was held out of practice Friday and is listed as
doubtful. DT Anthony Adams (foot) and DE Adewale Ogunleye
(shoulder) are questionable and were limited in Friday's practice.
LB Hunter Hillenmeyer (Achilles) is probable.

Jason McKie, G Terrence Metcalf, DT Matt Toeaina, WR Brandon
Rideau, NT Dusty Dvoracek and DE Ervin Baldwin.

4for4 reports: Bears RB Jason McKie (quadricep questionable) took
full reps Thursday but was limited at practice Friday. He should
be able to play.

Thursday, December 4, 2008, 7:00pm

Chicago Sun Times: Bears FB Jason McKie (strained quadriceps)
remained sidelined Thursday as the team practiced outside. He's
expected to miss Sunday's game, with a chance he could be out a
few more weeks. DE Adewale Ogunleye was held out for the second
consecutive day with a shoulder injury, but coach Lovie Smith is
optimistic Ogunleye will play Sunday. Center Olin Kreutz,
defensive tackle Tommie Harris, safety Mike Brown and linebackers
Lance Briggs and Hunter Hillenmeyer returned to practice on a
limited basis.

4for4 reports: Bears FB Jason McKie (quadricep) will not play this
weekend. He was unable
to go at practice Friday.

Wednesday, December 17, 2008, 7:00pm

Chicago Sun Times: Bears FB Jason McKie (quad) is also out at
practice Thursday.

Friday, December 5, 2008, 7:00pm

Chicago Sun Times: The Bears have had another late-week injury. TE
Desmond Clark has been added to the injury report with a pulled
hamstring and is now listed as questionable for Sunday's game.
It's unknown at this point if Clark was injured in practice Friday
or if he perhaps pulled the hamstring in a walk-through this
morning. This would put the Bears in a bit of a jam with starting
FB Jason McKie already out with a pulled quad muscle that could
sideline him for the remainder of the regular season. McKie pulled
the muscle in practice on Friday, Nov. 28. It's rare for players
to be injured in practice that late in the week.

Tuesday, December 9, 2008, 7:00pm

Daily Herald: Bears fullback Jason McKie (quad), wide receiver
Marty Booker (ribs) and running back Garrett Wolfe (hamstring) all
missed practice Tuesday. They are not expected to play.
