Dwayne Bowe to be put on IR
Monday, December 10, 2012, 4:56pm

Pro Football Talk - [Full Article]

Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe was ruled out for this week’s game against the Raiders early on Monday and now he’s been ruled out for the rest of the season.

PFT has learned via a league source that Bowe will be placed on injured reserve as a result of the broken ribs he suffered in Sunday’s lopsided loss to the Browns. Bowe had two catches for 70 yards before leaving Sunday’s game.

Fantasy Impact:

Many feel Bowe has now played his last game as a Chief. For this year, it's an obvious blow to an already very bad passing game. Jonathan Baldwin and Terrance Copper will likely start with Dexter McCluster in the slot. As you should already know, it's a situation to stay away from.

Isaac Redman will start for the Steelers after rushing for 147 yards and a touchdown against the Giants last week. Dwyer will be the backup.

Injury report for TNF - Chiefs @ Chargers
Wednesday, October 31, 2012, 7:41pm

Kansas City Chiefs

OUT
RB Nate Eachus (head), QB Brady Quinn (head)

QUESTIONABLE
WR Terrance Copper (calf), DE Glenn Dorsey (calf), TE Steve Maneri (ankle), CB Stanford Routt (hamstring)

PROBABLE
WR Devon Wylie (hamstring)

Fantasy Impact:

Other than perhaps Robert Meachem, there's no real news here. Meachem isn't much of a fantasy option at this point, and there's no good way to capitalize with Eddie Royal and Vincent Brown out as well.

Associated Press - [Full Article]

Backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor directed two fourth-quarter touchdown drives for Baltimore, the first ending with Jalen Parmele’s go-ahead 10-yard touchdown run with 7:16 remaining as the Ravens defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 31-13.

Taylor later added a 5-yard TD run of his own, a dive to the right pylon that withstood a video review. He finished 5 for 11 for 88 yards.

Kansas City’s Tyler Palko completed eight of 13 passes for 95 yards, but produced 10 points in his three drive - a tying 4-yard touchdown pass to Terrance Copper late in the second quarter and a 12-play march culminating in a tiebreaking 30-yard field goal by Ryan Succop with 6:58 left in the third quarter.

The Ravens played Joe Flacco into the third quarter and he completed 12 of 24 passes for 124 yards, while Chiefs starting quarterback Matt Cassel was 6 for 14 for 73 yards.
