IDP Matchups & Sleepers: Week 6

Each week, I'm going to go through our IDP rankings and look at some of the top matchups and sleeper picks for the week at each position. My IDP brother-in-arms, Ross Miles, will have your IDP waiver wire covered. If you have specific questions pertaining to your lineup, you can always refer to the ranks or hit me up on Twitter @Mike_Woellert.

Now, let's see what Week 6 has in store for us.

Linebacker

Nick Vigil, ILB, Cincinnati Bengals vs. Baltimore Ravens

I would ride Nick Vigil's hot streak for as long as possible. Over the past two weeks, he's recorded a 20.1% tackle rate - resulting in 24 tackles. He stood out and made solid plays in Week 5 and has been Cincinnati's best linebacker. He should be busy against Baltimore's offense, going after Mark Ingram, Lamar Jackson and Mark Edwards. The Baltimore offense is allowing 24 tackles per game to opposing LBs - including 14 solo tackles per game.

Jayon Brown, ILB, Tennessee Titans vs. Denver Broncos

The Broncos have been a favorable matchup for linebackers, so this is shaping up to be a good week for Brown. On the year, he's producing an 11.1% tackle rate and has four-straight games of seven or more tackles. The Bronco offense has yielded nearly 15 solo tackles per game to the LB position.

Demario Davis, ILB, New Orleans Saints vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

I think it's also a good move to target your LBs against the Jaguars. Demario Davis owners will want to have him in their lineups this week. Leonard Fournette has consecutive games of 20 or more carries, so Davis should have numerous tackle attempts. Davis has the chance to increase his 11% tackle rate this week, as Jacksonville's offense has allowed 37 tackles to opposing LBs over the last two weeks.

Jarrad Davis, ILB, Detroit Lions vs. Green Bay Packers

Davis should be 100% coming out of the bye week and has LB2 upside heading into Green Bay week. The Packers have a newfound weapon in Aaron Jones, so Davis should find himself with a plethora of tackle attempts. This season, the Packer offense is allowing nearly nine tackles per game to opposing 4-3 MLBs.

Sleeper

Mack Wilson, OLB, Cleveland Browns vs. Seattle Seahawks

I like Wilson as a sleeper this week. He'll be tasked to cover Will Dissly, while also spying Russell Wilson. This season, the Seahawks are allowing 11 tackles and almost a sack per game to opposing OLBs.
