2026 FFPC Late-Round Running Back Targets
There are still some really nice values right now in FFPC leagues in the later rounds. Connor Allen went through his picks at wide receiver in this article, so I figured I'd add to the fun with my favorite late-round running backs to target.
Every back on this list is currently being selected in Rounds 13 or later, and has the potential to produce above their proverbial draft skis.

2026 FFPC Late-Round Running Back Targets
MarShawn Lloyd, Packers (RB56, 148)
He has just six touches for 18 combined yards in his NFL career due to calf and hamstring injuries, but MarShawn Lloyd is healthy and in a great spot for fantasy relevance this season. Josh Jacobs is dealing with a groin injury, along with possible legal ramifications, and Chris Brooks is now off the active/PUP list but did not dress for the Packers preseason contest last weekend. Lloyd has received praise this offseason for his growth in several areas, and if Jacobs misses time, he could find himself in the leadback role - all for the price of an RB5.
Jonah Coleman, Broncos (RB54, 152)
The Denver RB room is a wee bit crowded, but we are getting a little clarity as this preseason rolls along. J.K. Dobbins is dealing with a soft tissue injury and will likely be bubble-wrapped for a bit given his history. Rookie Jonah Coleman got some reps with the first team in their first preseason contest, and he was able to pick up two first downs for the team, barreling through contact on both carries. He may not get volume to start the season if Dobbins is healthy and RJ Harvey is also in the mix on passing downs, but adding Coleman in the later part of drafts could pay off handsomely later on in the season when rookie RBs tend to emerge.
Emmett Johnson, Chiefs (RB62, 179)
I've been beating a slow drum for Emmett Johnson all summer, and he is a guy who could prove to be a nice pick down the stretch in FFPC formats. Kenneth Walker isn't the most durable back out there, and Andy Reid recently praised the rookie, saying Johnson was “one of the positives coming out of this,” referring to their first preseason game. His total in his first NFL appearance was 15 touches for 69 combined yards, and he looked ready to rock behind Walker. His ADP will likely spike as we get closer to Week 1, so grab him now before he climbs any further up draft boards.
Demond Claiborne, Vikings (RB70, 192)
His preseason Week 1 stats weren't anything to write home about, but Demond Claiborne received 12 touches in that first contest, which is certainly of interest. His skillset is different than both Aaron Jones and Jordan Mason, and Claiborne could make for a solid change-of-pace guy to open up the playbook for some more creativity when carrying the rock for the Vikings. With an ADP of 16.12, the rookie is worth sprinkling into some FFPC leagues before his potential value is discovered.
