Tank Bigsby, RB - Eagles (17%)
Whether it was the New York Giants’ run defense, the Philadelphia Eagles’ offensive line finally getting some push, or some combination of the two, Saquon Barkley and Tank Bigsby ran roughshod through them in Week 8. Their eight combined rushes of 10+ yards were nearly as many as Barkley had on the season up to that point, and Bigsby had an insane 8.78 yards created after contact over his nine attempts. While Barkley’s groin injury doesn’t look to be something that will sideline him going forward, the meaningful takeaway here is that Bigsby is very clearly the team’s RB2 as Will Shipley still only has seven carries on the season and A.J. Dillon sits at twelve.
Barkley has at least a nominal amount of wear and tear after his incredibly productive 2024, and Bigsby should be stashed in leagues of all sizes.
