Fantasy Football Quarterback Streaming Week 10: J.J. McCarthy Tops The List

There were only three quarterbacks who threw for at least 300 yards, but that wasn’t the story for Week 9 at the position. There were five quarterbacks who finished with four touchdown passes each, including Joe Flacco and Geno Smith. On the ground, Josh Allen and Trevor Lawrence chipped in two rushing touchdowns each.

Four teams will be on a bye during Week 10, including the Cowboys and Chiefs. That means fantasy managers who roster Dak Prescott and Patrick Mahomes might be forced to the waiver wire for a streaming replacement.

Week 9 Recap

Two of our four streaming recommendations from last week finished inside the top eight at quarterback. In addition to Smith’s big performance, Sam Darnold threw for 330 yards and four touchdowns versus the Commanders to finish as QB6. Darnold is not eligible for this column this week as he is now rostered in 51% of Yahoo leagues.

The only real disappointment for the week was Tua Tagovailoa, who couldn’t take advantage of a favorable matchup against the Ravens. While he attempted 40 passes with the Dolphins trying to play catch-up, he finished with just 261 yards, along with one interception and no touchdowns. Across his last four games, Tagovailoa has been intercepted seven times.
