Divisional Round Single-Game DFS Breakdown: Bengals at Titans

The Bengals did a terrific job protecting Joe Burrow last week. The Raiders came to town with PFF's sixth-ranked pass rush grade but managed to pressure him just five times on 36 dropbacks. The Titans, 28th in PFF's pass rush grade, will have to get creative to make things harder on the league's most accurate deep ball passer in this matchup. The Titans are getting the band back together, and everyone is hoping they play the hits. Derrick Henry, A.J. Brown, and Julio Jones have been on the field together for 120 of the Titans' 1133 offensive snaps this season (10.6%), but they're back and ready for this Divisional Round matchup on Saturday night.

It is vital to remember that single-game slates are not simply a “max salary, play as many big names as possible, and submit” format, especially in larger tournament fields. We need to identify players that can be pieces in their offense’s success, whether in the lead or trailing, as well as the players that could be focal points in a neutral game script. The ability to then take those players and identify which will succeed in the single-game format will put us in a better position to succeed as daily fantasy players.

Vegas Total and Spread

The Titans are 3.5-point home favorites, with a game total of 47.5 at most sportsbooks.
