Rams running back Ronnie Rivers, who has been on IR, has been designated to return to practice per team.

Related players: Kyren Williams, Royce Freeman, Zach Evans

Fantasy Impact:

Rivers last played in Week 6 and was the main backup to Williams. When both backs landed on IR, the Rams went on an RB shopping spree and brought in the likes of Darrell Henderson, Freeman and Myles Gaskin. The team has since cut Henderson and Gaskin leaving Freeman as the main backup to Williams. A possible Rivers return could put him back in the RB2 spot, but that remains to be seen.

LAR RB Zach Evans - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

With Cam Akers and Kyren Williams out of the picture, Zach Evans is the next man up. We have him all the way down at RB29. If we had a crystal ball and could tell what Los Angeles does with these remaining running backs that number could be very different (in either direction).

Evans has had exactly four rushes all year, so we're not sure what he's even capable of on this level. If he was guaranteed all the touches, he'd be an easy start. Given the uncertainty, I'd be hard-pressed to start him except in the most desperate of situations.
