The Arizona Cardinals have activated linebacker Josh Sweat off the Physically Unable to Perform list and waived injured running back Trey Benson.

Fantasy Impact:

If Benson clears waivers he will revert to the teams IR list. The writing was on the wall for someone in the Arizona backfield after the team signed Allgeier and drafted Love this past spring. Benson could land somewhere else but he's still dealing with a knee injury that cost him his 2025 season.

Fantasy Impact:

It'll be a one-two punch of Knight + Carter over the last month of the season, but sadly, that hasn't been particularly great for fantasy. Knight is the more reliable option of the two for Week 15, but the team is leaning heavily into the passing game, and the Texans rank 4th in RB aFPA, making him an RB3 with limited upside.

Lots of negative news about the Cardinals' offense on this fine Friday, as Benson will join Kyler Murray and Marvin Harrison Jr. in street clothes.

Knight should once again get the majority of the rushing-down work, albeit against a Rams defense that ranks fifth in RB aFPA. Consider him in the RB3 range for Week 14.
