BAL QB Lamar Jackson - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Seattle Seahawks

Lamar Jackson didn’t have to do much last week, as the Ravens ran all over the Cardinals in a convincing victory. Jackson ended up with just 157 yards and a touchdown passing, adding 17 yards on the ground. He threw the ball just 27 times as Gus Edwards finished with three rushing touchdowns.

This week, Jackson faces a Seattle defense that ranks 28th in aFPA to opposing quarterbacks. With a great matchup in a game that should be a bit more competitive, we have Jackson ranked as an elite fantasy option once again. Look for him to rebound in fantasy and get back to high-level production.

BAL QB Lamar Jackson - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Arizona Cardinals

Lamar Jackson was phenomenal last week in a lopsided victory over the Lions. He needed only 27 passes to throw for 357 yards and three touchdowns, and he added 36 yards and a score on the ground. Jackson is on pace for 882 rushing yards this season and has accounted for 13 total touchdowns - eight passing, five rushing - compared to just three interceptions. If the Ravens keep winning, Jackson will once again be in the MVP conversation.

This week, Jackson has a fantastic matchup against an Arizona defense that ranks 31st in aFPA to opposing quarterbacks. Expect another efficient day for Jackson, and with his potential to supplement his passing numbers with excellent rushing stats, he’s a must-start every week. We have him ranked in elite territory for Week 8.

BAL QB Lamar Jackson - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Detroit Lions

Lamar Jackson had a modest fantasy outing against the Titans in London last week, throwing for 223 yards, a touchdown, and a pick. He added 62 yards on the ground, salvaging an otherwise middling fantasy performance. Jackson is on pace for 926.5 rushing yards this season, so his fantasy floor continues to be high based on expected rushing production.

This week, Jackson will face a Detroit defense that ranks 19th in aFPA to opposing quarterbacks. Jackson may need to throw a bit more than the 30 attempts he had last week to keep up with the Lions offense. As such, he has significant upside in what could be a high-scoring affair. Keep Jackson active as a high-end QB1 in all leagues.

BAL QB Lamar Jackson - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Tennessee Titans (London)

Lamar Jackson had a rough game last week in a division loss to the Steelers. He did not account for any touchdowns and threw for just 236 yards and a pick. He ran for 45 yards, but his 9.9 fantasy points were his lowest since Week 1, and tumbled him down to fantasy QB10 on the year.

This week, Jackson faces a Titans defense that ranks 14th in aFPA to opposing quarterbacks. Expect him to get back on track and for the rushing production to continue to elevate his overall fantasy numbers. We have Jackson ranked as a top-five quarterback this week and he should be active in all leagues.

BAL QB Lamar Jackson - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Pittsburgh Steelers

For the second game in a row, Lamar Jackson had a pair of rushing touchdowns. He added a pair of passing touchdowns as well in a lopsided victory over the division-rival Browns in Week 4, and his efficient play is a big part of the Ravens’ 3-1 record to start the season. Jackson has accounted for eight touchdowns and thrown just one interception while completing 74.3% of his passes.

Jackson has a nice matchup this week against a struggling Steelers defense that ranks 21st in aFPA to opposing quarterbacks this season. Fire Jackson up for another excellent start with high rushing expectations, as we have him ranked as a top-five quarterback this week.

BAL QB Lamar Jackson - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Cleveland Browns

Lamar Jackson had 202 yards passing last week against the Colts, but he also had 101 yards and two touchdowns rushing. His ground production always makes him a threat for elite fantasy numbers and it’s good to see him running regularly again with at least 10 attempts in two straight games.

This week, Jackson has a tough matchup against the Browns, who rank third in aFPA to opposing quarterbacks and have a Cylon for a pass-rusher in Myles Garrett. Jackson’s rushing production makes him a must-start every week, but temper expectations in what could be a low-scoring affair.

BAL QB Lamar Jackson - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs. Indianapolis Colts

Lamar Jackson had 237 yards and a pair of touchdowns through the air to go with his 54 rushing yards last week in a victory over the Bengals. It was the kind of stat line we’re used to with Jackson, supplementing passing numbers with significant rushing production. Jackson’s 12 rush attempts doubled his Week 1 numbers, which makes sense given how much closer the final score was in the game.

This week, Jackson faces a plucky Colts team that dominated Houston last week on the scoreboard but gave up 384 passing yards and a pair of touchdowns to quarterback C.J. Stroud. Expect the Ravens to be in a much closer game than Houston was, but Jackson should still have plenty of opportunities to find success on the ground and through the air. Start him as an elite fantasy quarterback for Week 3.
