Cowboys WR Michael Gallup avoided serious injury in Sunday’s win over 49ers. Exited third quarter with a hip pointer, source said.

Fantasy Impact:

Gallup hasn’t been ruled out for Sunday’s divisional game against Eagles, the tweet said. And with the Cowboys and the rest of the NFC East teams still alive for the division, this will be a key game for both teams so Gallup may try to play through the injury. He produced a 3-26-1 line behind Lamb's 8-85-0 line last week, while Cooper had just two catches for 10 yards in the win over the 49ers.

The Cowboys plan to give Garrett Gilbert and Cooper Rush reps in practice and pick one of them at week’s end to start at QB against the Steelers.

Fantasy Impact:

The big news is it won’t be rookie DiNucci, who struggled Sunday night against the Eagles. As Pelissero added, the Cowboys are playing to experience at the position. We'll continue to monitor heading into Week 9, but it's probably safe to assume much of the same no matter who is named the starter, if not mostly because of the tough matchup against the Steelers. It continues to be a big downgrade for players like Elliott, Cooper and Gallup.
