A.J. Green was suited up but still seems to be doing individual drills only.

Fantasy Impact:

The team could be taking it easy with Green or there could be more to this. Green was cleared almost a week ago now but hasn't taken part in any kind of team drills. He's looking more risky every day if you're counting on him to be a big part of your fantasy team.

A.J. Green is in the final stages of rehabilitating his hamstring. Cincinnati Bengals coach Zac Taylor expects Green to ramp his workload up at practice this week.

“I expect him to work back into drills this week. That wasn’t a concern when we were holding him out. We’re early in training camp and we have some other guys at that position we need to look at. I think it was smart of us to hold him out for a couple of days. We’ll get him back in action tomorrow,” Taylor said at his Tuesday press conference.

Fantasy Impact:

Green hasn’t practiced since suffering a hamstring injury on Aug. 17. He’s been rehabbing his tight hamstring ever since. The wide receiver ran routes and did conditioning drills at about 75% during Monday’s practice.

A.J. Green was on the rehab field, rather than the regular practice field, but he was running and cutting, according to reporters on the scene.

Fantasy Impact:

As the story said, that’s the first time he’s been seen running since suffering a hamstring injury a week ago. Whether Green is ever able to look like the star receiver he was several years ago remains to be seen. But he’s at least making progress toward playing again, something the Bengals badly want to see, the story said.

Bengals activate WR John Ross from COVID-19 list

John Ross was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list when he left the team earlier this month in order to help care for his son and his son’s mother after they tested positive for the coronavirus. The Bengals announced on Sunday that Ross has been activated from the list.

Fantasy Impact:

Ross will look to be the speed threat in the Bengal offense behind Green and Boyd, but he's not seeing a lot of action in typical draft formats.
