Diagnosing the Jaguars' Wide Receivers for 2026 Fantasy Football

The Jaguars’ wide receiver core has been the talk of the fantasy industry all offseason. All have had their time in the sun. All are talented and worthy of your consideration, especially with how powerful the Jaguars’ offense is. But how do we decide which of Brian Thomas Jr., Parker Washington, and Jakobi Meyers we should invest in for the 2026 fantasy football season?

Brian Thomas Jr.

Brian Thomas Jr. entered the NFL after a spectacular junior season at LSU. Drafted in the first round, Thomas naturally had high expectations as a rookie. Not only did he surpass those expectations, but he shattered them. For the season, he averaged 14.1 Half PPR PPG, 12th among wide receivers, and had an impressive 2.55 Yards Per Route Run, 7th among wide receivers. He especially thrived at the end of the season with 19.1 Half PPR PPG, 3rd best during that time. Justifiably, almost the entire fantasy community backed Thomas as a fringe first-round pick in fantasy drafts heading into the 2025 season, but the fantasy football gods had other plans.

Few players disappointed more than Brian Thomas Jr. did in 2025. After his incredible rookie season, it was hard to see how he could be anything other than a high-end fantasy producer. Instead, Thomas battled through injuries and lost opportunities to his running mates. The Liam Coen offense is known for favoring the slot receiver, but Thomas lined up there a lowly 19.1% of the time in 2025. For the season, Thomas averaged only 8.2 Half PPR PPG and 1.49 Yards per Route Run. This offseason, it's been reported that Thomas has been putting in the extra effort at camp and building his relationship with Trevor Lawrence. Now we have to decide who the real Thomas is, and if that’s a player we want to draft for 2026.

Parker Washington

A sixth-round pick by the Jaguars in 2023, Parker Washington has been battling to earn opportunities since he joined the team. Each year his role and production have grown, culminating in his shocking 2025 season. For the season, Washington averaged 9.7 Half PPR PPG and 2.2 Yards per Route Run, but he was great over the second half of the season. From Week 9 on, including the Jaguars’ playoff game, Washington averaged 13.4 Half PPR PPG and 2.69 Yards per Route Run. Playing from the slot 50.5% of the time, and having a knack for producing after the catch, evidenced by his 4.8 yards after the catch even on his 13.1 Average Depth of Target in 2025, Washington fits well into Liam Coen’s slot-centric offense.

Since breaking out during the back half of 2025, Parker Washington has been a divisive player in the fantasy community. He’s not a dynamic athlete, and a former sixth-round pick who had little production before last season. But it’s hard to deny how good he was, and how important he was to the Jaguars’ offense. Over the Jaguars' last four games, including the playoffs, Washington had at least 87 receiving yards in each game while no other pass catcher surpassed 54 yards in a single game. The production was legit, but will it last?

Jakobi Meyers

The former seventh-round pick, Jakobi Meyers, has made a career out of proving doubters wrong. He’s consistently outperformed expectations and his fantasy football draft cost. Coming off two straight top 24 Half PPR PPG finishes, there were reports before the 2025 season that Meyers was looking to be traded from the Raiders. He got his wish and was traded to the Jaguars before the deadline. Meyers hit the ground running with the Jaguars, scoring a touchdown in three of his first five games with the team. Before the season was even over, the Jaguars rewarded Meyers with a contract extension worth $60 million over three years.

Jakobi Meyers Career Stats
Year Target Share aDOT YPRR Half-PPR PPG
2019 9.6% 10.5 1.61 3.3
2020 23.2% 10.6 2.37 8.1
2021 24.4% 9.6 1.78 8.5
2022 22.0% 10.0 2.18 10.5
2023 20.9% 9.7 1.59 11.4
2024 24.9% 9.9 1.82 11.6
2025 22.8% 9.1 1.66 8.6

Despite his early results with the Jaguars and receiving a new contract, Jakobi Meyers’ production during his time with the Jaguars in 2025 isn’t as good as you may remember. Meyers slowed at the end of the season, as did everyone other than Parker Washington. Including the playoffs, Meyers averaged 8.6 Half PPR PPG for his nine games in Jacksonville, and didn’t cross 6.9 points over his last four games. Of the Jaguars' pass catchers, Meyers is the best-known player. He's solid at all aspects of playing the position, but isn't exceptional anywhere. He's old reliable. For him, it’s about deciding whether his higher-ceiling teammates will overtake his steady floor, or if his reliability will prevail.

Bottom Line

  • Brian Thomas has an ADP of WR32 at 68 Overall according to the 4for4 Multi-Site ADP. For ceiling hunters, Thomas is a worthwhile pick at his cost given his known potential. Even if he can’t repeat his rookie season, he can be a value.
  • Not far behind, Parker Washington sits at 76 Overall as WR35. If you believe his end-of-season breakout was real, and Washington will be Liam Coen’s next great slot receiver, this is a fantastic price. If you think he’s the next Travis Fulgham, this is a hard price to swallow.
  • Jakobi Meyers is the cheapest of the three as WR44 at 105 Overall. Meyers is for some teams, but not all teams. If you’re looking for a little more reliable floor production for your fantasy wide receiver room, Meyers is a good pick. If you’re looking for a league winner, look elsewhere.
