Eagles sign WR Mike Wallace

The Eagles have signed WR Mike Wallace to a one-year deal worth up to $4 million.

Fantasy Impact:

With Alshon Jeffery and Nelson Agholor already in the fold, Wallace will likely line up as the team's No. 3 WR or compete with Mack Hollins for the role.

Wallace has spent the last two seasons in Baltimore, with his first being more productive—72 catches for 1,017 yards and four touchdowns. Last season he produced over 150 PPR points, finishing as the No. 38 scoring receiver in the format (WR23 the year prior). Factor in Zach Ertz, and it's hard to envision Wallace being targeted a ton in the Eagles' offense next season.

The Eagles and star WR A.J. Brown agreed to terms on a new 3-year extension for $96M, the highest for any WR in NFL history. He’s now under contract through 2029 & his total guarantee of $84M is also the highest.

Fantasy Impact:

The Eagles are not messing around with their top two receivers, inking this deal just 10 days after locking in DeVonta Smith. Jalen Hurts remains insulated with high-level talent.

The Lions have a deal for one of the top young talents. They agreed on an extension for WR Amon-Ra St. Brown. He gets four years and more than $120M, with $77M guaranteed.

Fantasy Impact:

Good move for the Lions, who lock in their No. 1 pass-catching option. They will still likely address the position in the NFL Draft, but that shouldn't impact St. Brown.

Fantasy Impact:

It's hard to picture this prohibiting the team from taking a QB in the NFL Draft but it certainly insulates them a little bit if they end up unable to move up where they want. Wilson's dynasty SuperFlex value will at least improve in the short term.
