Najee Harris was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice but was a full-go the following two days.

This put a major damper on anyone who went out and spent FAAB on Jaylen Warren during waiver runs this week, but it would be a good idea to hold him on your roster as we continue to keep an eye on Najee Harris' foot. Given the Steelers' historic running back usage, if Harris is healthy heading into a game, we should expect him to handle a vast majority of the workload.

Najee Harris told Adam Schein of SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Sports Radio that the injury is “nothing too crazy” and that he’ll use Tuesday’s off day to continue healing before he gets back on the field to prepare for the Steelers’ Week Two home game against the Patriots.

“I’ll be back at practice this week. And then I will be playing this weekend,” Harris said.

It's certainly great news at this point. But we know by now we can't always trust players when it comes to talking about their health and their playing status. We'll continue to keep an eye on it because Harris wasn't able to return to the game. For Harris owners, it may be a good time to try to pick up Warren just in case things change with Harris.

It would seem as if Benny Snell Jr. has been supplanted as the first option after Najee Harris in Pittsburgh.

Najee led the league in backfield touch% last season, so it's unlikely that UDFA Jaylen Warren gets much run in 2022 as long as Harris is healthy, but this is at least an interesting development in Dynasty circles.
