Tyrell Williams ruled out for Week 2 (concussion) against Packers

There was always an outside chance that Williams was going to play Monday night, but with an extra day to be cleared some had their hopes up.

Fantasy Impact:

The biggest beneficiary of Williams absence will be T.J. Hockenson, who vaults himself into one of Week 2's top tight end plays. Expect the Lions to deploy Quintez Cephus, Amon-Ra St. Brown and Kalif Raymond three-wide sets.

The Saints officially listed QB Derek Carr (left hand/concussion) as doubtful for Sunday vs. Washington. Jake Haener will make his first NFL start.

RB Alvin Kamara (illness) is off the injury report and good to go.

Fantasy Impact:

It would have been an easy click for a Kendre Miller week if Kamara were forced to miss, but this puts the kibosh on that. Fire Kamara up as an RB2 this week in a game that may feature him even more than usual with no Carr.
