Bears TE Trey Burton is inactive for Thursday’s opener against the Packers.

Fantasy Impact:

Burton is still dealing with a groin strain suffered last week, but the Bears do not believe it is related to the sport hernia surgery he had over the offseason, Emma notes. Burton gave it a go during pregame but ultimately will sit out tonight. Adam Shaheen will get the start for the Bears.

RB Alvin Kamara (illness) is off the injury report and good to go.

It would have been an easy click for a Kendre Miller week if Kamara were forced to miss, but this puts the kibosh on that. Fire Kamara up as an RB2 this week in a game that may feature him even more than usual with no Carr.
