Titans QB Young: ‘I’ll be out there’

Titans QB Vince Young didn’t practice Friday, one day after aggravating his injured right knee, but he insists that he will play this weekend, The Tennessean reports.

When asked if he would play Sunday against the Rams, Young told the newspaper: “Heck yeah, you know me better than that. I’ll be out there.”

NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora reports that Young’s status is considered a game-time decision. Veteran Kerry Collins, who started the first six games of the season for the Titans, would be under center if Young can’t play.
