A few injury updates I’ve gathered:

• WR Wan’Dale Robinson: ACL. Expecting him to be activated from PUP by the Tuesday deadline.

• WR Cole Beasley: Quad. He’s close to 100%. Ford-Wheaton injury boosts Beasley’s odds for a roster spot.

The Giants have a crowded receiving room, and Robinson will need some time to get up to speed, so it remains to be seen what kind of role he'll start with and eventually get to on the Giants. Robinson has played most of his time in the slot and that area of the room is especially crowded, and includes the rookie Hyatt. Robinson was having the best game of his young career last season in Week 10, catching nine balls for 100 yards on 13 targets before tearing his ACL.

It was mostly Parris Campbell working out of the slot, Darius Slayton and Isaiah Hodgins out wide, and Darren Waller all over the field with the first-team offense. That’s in part because Sterling Shepard (knee) and Wan’Dale Robinson (knee) worked on the side as part of their rehab from torn ACLs.

Campbell, who was signed this offseason as a free agent, is destined for a significant role regardless. The Giants think he can do more than be the 68-catch player he was with the Indianapolis Colts last season if he’s healthy in this offense. This spring only validated what they thought they could be getting.

In Underdog drafts, Hyatt is currently coming off the board as the WR70 around guys who have already proved they can be valuable at times in fantasy, such as; K.J. Osborn, DJ Chark, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling.

Awful news for Robinson, who finally had his breakout game (9-100 on 13 targets) on Sunday. The Giants' dwindling receiver room gets even more depleted, and maybe the team will have to employ Kenny Golladay against their best wishes. Darius Slayton has become the team's de facto WR1, and we'll see how the rest of the usage breaks down, but Daniel Jones is going to have to keep making things happen with his legs.

Per the article, if he never plays another down for the team — which is certainly possible, since he's nursing a hamstring injury while he sits at the bottom of the depth chart — they will have paid him approximately $1.03 million for every catch he made.

You know things are rough when people are writing entire exposes about how much of a disappointing signing you've been. Kenny Golladay can be safely dropped in all redraft formats, while dynasty managers are probably just stuck holding the bag until he lands on another team. Hopefully, that can ignite a spark in a player that hasn't been fantasy relevant since 2019.

The team returned from their bye week on Tuesday and Kenny Golladay was on the practice field. It’s the first time that Golladay has practiced since the Friday before their Week Four win over the Bears and Giants head coach Brian Daboll said that Golladay should play against the Texans this weekend.

How much Golladay plays is a different question. We have him buried way down the team's depth chart.

Kadarius Toney (hamstring) and Kenny Golladay (knee) are both not practicing again today. Saquon Barkley (shoulder) is limited again.

Whether physical or behind-the-scenes issues are truly to blame here, this is beginning to feel like a lost season for Toney unless the team is able to fire up a trade in the next couple of weeks. The former first-round pick has exactly two receptions in 2022, coming off the heels of trade rumors throughout the offseason. Hopefully this will continue to leave the door open for Wan'Dale Robinson to become a true fantasy option.

Per Connor, Kadarius Toney tweaked his hamstring on Thursday. It’s the other hamstring now, Brian Daboll says. So that’s why he’s not here & out again.

The Giants have a bottom-five receiving group, if not the worst in the NFL, and Toney has been unable to be part of the solution. With Daniel Jones facing his own issues, Saquon Barkley may touch the ball 25-30 times in Week 5 against the Packers.

Kenny Golladay's tenure with the New York Giants is taking another disappointing turn. The wideout suffered an MCL sprain in Sunday's win over the Bears in Week 4 and is not expected to travel with the team to London where they are scheduled to take on the Packers at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday, according to the NFL Network.

The Giants desperately need the return of Toney and Robinson to the lineup and both are getting closer according to reports last week, but there is still no official word about their Week 5 status in London. That leaves James, Sills and Slayton as the team's top-three WRs as of now.

With Toney and Robinson hurt, and Golladay seemingly in the doghouse, it only leaves James and Sills as the team's top targets. If the G-men don't look elsewhere, the Giants may have to put more trust in Toney and Golladay going forward. Robinson should return from a knee injury soon and he actually started in Week 1 before getting hurt. It's a situation to watch as one of these WRs will likely have to step up into a bigger fantasy role.
