Report: Seahawks among teams looking into signing WR Antonio Brown
Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the Seahawks are among a group of teams interested in signing free agent wide receiver Antonio Brown with his suspension ending in two weeks.
Brown was suspended for eight games this offseason for off-the-field conduct but his ban ends after Week 8. It is not surprising that multiple teams are interested in Brown. Players with his upside being free agents mid-season is a rare occurrence. His fantasy prospects would obviously depend on his landing spot, although Schefter specifically mentioned Seattle in the report. Both DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett would take a hit in fantasy if this report comes to fruition, but the prospect of Brown lining up alongside that duo and catching passes from Russell Wilson should terrify opposing defenses.
