Pelissero: Lamar Jackson’s thumb injury could be season-ending

Nov 01, 2026

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson’s thumb injury is potentially season-ending, per Tom Pelissero. Jackson is going on injured reserve and when asked if it’s season-ending, head coach Jesse Minter said, “We’ll see.”

Jackson left the game after one play and it didn’t take long for him to be ruled out. Shortly thereafter, Tyler Huntley also left with a toe injury. The Ravens had to finish the game with undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano at quarterback.

The Ravens are now sitting in last place in the AFC North at 4-4.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson left Sunday’s game against the Bills with a thumb injury.

Fantasy Impact:

After just coming back from an ankle injury, Jackson leaves after just one play and was shortly later ruled out for the remainder of the game. As if that wasn’t bad enough for the Ravens, backup quarterback Tyler Huntley injured his toe in the second quarter and had to be replaced by emergency third quarterback Joe Fagnano, the undrafted rookie out of UConn. Because the Ravens had to use their emergency third quarterback, Huntley is now ineligible to return to today’s game, so it’s Fagnano the rest of the way.

The Broncos placed RB RJ Harvey on injured reserve with a knee injury.

Fantasy Impact:

Could this be Jonah Coleman's time to shine? Coleman was already trending toward the top of the running back room, and now his only major competition in the backfield is J.K. Dobbins. Harvey suffered the injury in practice this week and will now miss games against the Chiefs, Panthers, Raiders, and Steelers. He is eligible to return in Week 13 against the Dolphins.

Jadarian Price, Zach Charbonnet set to return in Week 8

Seahawks RBs Jadarian Price and Zach Charbonnet are both set to return to game action Monday night against the Bears.

Fantasy Impact:

Both have to be officially activated from injured reserve, but the expectation is that will happen. Charbonnet will play for the first time since tearing his ACL in the Divisional Playoffs back in January. How Seattle plans to use Price and Charbonnet remains to be seen, but they should climb back to the top of the running back room, as neither Emanuel Wilson nor George Holani took control of the backfield in their absence. Seattle's run game also got a boost this week with the addition of guard Quenton Nelson.
