Pats WR Danny Amendola (ankle) on crutches

Patriots WR Danny Amendola suffered an ankle injury that forced him out of Sunday’s 26-10 win over the Rams in the second half.

Then after the game, Amendola left the locker room on crutches and with a walking boot on his right foot.

Related players: Chris Hogan, Malcolm Mitchell

Fantasy Impact:

Amendola suffered the injury on a punt return. He came up lame after the play and limped off the field. Before the injury, Amendola caught three passes for 30 yards. He took over the punt returning duties after rookie Cyrus Jones fumbled an attempt in the first quarter. With the Pats seemingly going back to more three WR sets, any loss of time by Amendola could open up more snaps for Malcolm Mitchell or Chris Hogan.
