New York Jets QB Bryce Petty stayed on the ground for a little while after making a tackle after a Malcolm Butler fumble recovery. Trainers examined his left shoulder (nonthrowing) on the sideline before taking him to the locker room. The team ruled him out for the game in the third quarter.

Petty had his arm in a sling after the game and said he "felt something pop." Seems likely if Petty can't go, Fitzpatrick would get the start.
