Patriots WR N'Keal Harry (shoulder) is questionable for Sunday's opener against the Miami Dolphins, according to Doug Kyed of NESN.

The Patriots will be without WR/PR Gunner Olszewski, so an injured Harry leaves New England with three receivers available as of Friday. It is tough to imagine Harry missing Week 1, but his absence would be an important one to a gelling wide receiver corps.

The Patriots appear to be high on WR N'Keal Harry, according to Mike Girardi of the NFL Network. This after the team released WR Mohamed Sanu September 3.

The 2019 first round pick continues to have his tires pumped heading into the season. Free agent WR Damiere Byrd was also name-dropped by Girardi as a player the team likes. The two will be vying for a lot of available targets assuming the Patriots throw the ball at a decent weekly clip. Beyond Julian Edelman and James White, the passing offense is an open competition for targets.

This speaks to the Patriots' talent at WR but also his development, Gunner Olszewski has looked like the second best WR in camp behind Julian Edelman, though N'Keal Harry made a push today.

Kyed mentioned again that Harry had a big day on Monday, but up to this point Olszewski had been most impressive behind Edelman. Olszewski doesn't make our WR list while guys like Meyers and Sanu remain behind Edelman and Harry. With three weeks to go before the start of the season, keep an eye on Olszewski.

Patriots wide receiver Phillip Dorsett won’t return to New England’s Week 11 matchup with the Eagles after suffering a head injury.

Dorsett suffered the injury on a 15-yard touchdown catch from fellow wideout Julian Edelman. He took a hard shot from Eagles cornerback Rasul Douglas on the third-quarter play. The story said Harry replaced Dorsett after the injury.

The Patriots have remade their receiving corps since the beginning of the season. Julian Edelman, Phillip Dorsett, Mohamed Sanu, Jakobi Meyers and Gunner Olszewski now are the team’s receivers on the 53-player roster.

They could add a familiar face this week.

N'Keal Harry, the 32nd overall choice this spring, is eligible to return from injured reserve after missing the first eight games. He returned to practice two weeks ago.

The story said Harry is a candidate to take over the X receiver spot for Josh Gordon. The Patriots have until Nov. 4 to activate him to the 53-man roster or he reverts to IR for the remainder of the season.
