Goodson, Stewart head to RB split for Panthers?

Running back Mike Goodson missed his second straight day of practice Thursday for personal reasons, but will play against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.

Whether he’ll start or not remains up in the air.

Although Goodson has amassed 400 total yards from scrimmage the last three games, it’s possible the Panthers could turn to Jonathan Stewart, who had his best game last week against Cleveland rushing for 98 yards after missing two games with concussion.

Coach John Fox said it doesn’t really matter who starts as both will be used.

“I think they’ll all play,” Fox said. “We’ll make sure that the opponent knows our starting lineup when we need to have them know.”

Fantasy Impact:

The Seattle defense is pretty brutal, especially as of late. So, both backs could have some value in this matchup. Goodson had the TD last week but Stewart made the most of his carries gaining more yards.
