Panthers QB Bryce Young returns to practice ahead of Week 9

Panthers QB Bryce Young (ankle) was a full participant in practice, putting him on track to return Sunday at Green Bay.

Meanwhile, backup QB Andy Dalton (right thumb) did not participate.

Fantasy Impact:

Dalton had a miserable performance and somehow made it out of Week 8 with only one interception, so this is a good sign for the Panthers' offense. With that said, Young should be a long way from fantasy consideration against the Packers, while Tetaroia McMillan is the only receiver we should be plugging into lineups.

Sources: Texans RB Joe Mixon is not expected to play this season as he deals with a foot injury from the offseason.

Mixon likely remains on the Physically Unable to Perform list through the season. Meanwhile, Houston moves forward with Nick Chubb and Woody Marks.

Fantasy Impact:

This shouldn't come as much of a surprise considering we haven't heard a peep about him in months. As such, this doesn't impact Marks and Chubb's ROS outlook. We'll have to see how this impacts Mixon's 2026 availability.

Fantasy Impact:

This would be a very early return for Burrow, particularly when we consider that the team is 3-7 at the moment. If he were to somehow make a miraculous return in Week 12, he would actually be in a good spot against the Patriots' 25th-ranked defense according to QB aFPA, but he'd also be without Ja'Marr Chase, who is serving a one-game suspension. We'll keep an eye on the situation.

The Giants listed QB Jaxson Dart as a limited, non-contact participant in today's practice, his first since suffering a concussion in Week 10.

Fantasy Impact:

Even if the team pulls back the reins a little on Dart's designed rushes, he still has the rushing upside to land as a top-15 option if he plays in Week 12. Consider him a QB streaming option, should he be cleared in time.
