Panthers QB Bryce Young returns to practice ahead of Week 9

Panthers QB Bryce Young (ankle) was a full participant in practice, putting him on track to return Sunday at Green Bay.

Meanwhile, backup QB Andy Dalton (right thumb) did not participate.

Fantasy Impact:

Dalton had a miserable performance and somehow made it out of Week 8 with only one interception, so this is a good sign for the Panthers' offense. With that said, Young should be a long way from fantasy consideration against the Packers, while Tetaroia McMillan is the only receiver we should be plugging into lineups.

While Ford wasn't all that involved in the offense, he did have five receptions over the past two weeks on six targets. That work could end up going to Sampson, which is worth noting as we head to the fantasy playoffs. Sampson is now the clear RB2 behind Judkins and has had 7-4-9 touches over the past three weeks, including 5 catches for 64 yards last week. He's definitely worth picking up as a handcuff if you're a Judkins owner, but even in deeper leagues he may have some stand-alone value.

Pineiro is ready to return from a Grade 1 right hamstring strain. He has not played since a Nov. 16 game against the Cardinals, the story said. Gay made all four field goal attempts and all four PATs during his time with the Niners.
