Giants to start QB Russell Wilson Week 2

Daboll confirmed that Russell Wilson will start Sunday against the Cowboys.

Fantasy Impact:

Earlier we reported that Daboll wouldn't commit to Wilson after Week 1's loss to the Commanders, but the Giants boss ultimately decides to give Wilson another shot. The Cowboys actually did a pretty good job of holding the Eagles passing game down last week in the opener. It was Jalen Hurts' legs who helped the Eagles' cause. But Dallas did a pretty good job of shutting the Birds offense as a whole in the second half, so the outlook for Wilson in Week 2 doesn't appear to be great on the surface. It really seems like it's just a matter of time before the switch to Dart happens, and Wilson is a risky fantasy start as a result.

A sigh of relief for the Raiders and Bowers’ fantasy owners. Bowers started his second NFL season in a very nice way with 103 yards on five catches as the Raiders scored the Week 1 win in New England. Bowers sounds like he’ll be ready to go for the Raiders’ home opener next Monday night against the Chargers.

Raiders TE Brock Bowers is questionable to return to Sunday’s game against the Patriots with a knee injury.

Fantasy Impact:

Bowers limped off the field after running an in route during the fourth quarter. He was having a strong game with 103 yards on five catches. Hopefully the injury isn’t too serious. We could get some kind of update after the game.
