Tua Tagovailoa did not practice Friday and has officially been ruled out against Pittsburgh with the oblique injury he suffered Thursday. Michael Penix Jr. practiced fully but will also be inactive, putting Cooper Rush in line to start.

The Packers and tight end Tucker Kraft agreed to terms on a four-year extension worth up to $92 million Saturday.

Fantasy Impact:

The base extension is worth $75 million and includes a $26 million signing bonus. Kraft will average $19.66 million over the first three new years of the deal, a deal that now runs through the 2030 season. Kraft has worked his way back from a torn ACL and is not on the injury report as he gets set for Sunday’s opener against the Vikings. Cowboys RB Malik Davis expected to miss time with “pretty serious” hip injury

Cowboys chief operating officer Stephen Jones said on 105.3 "The Fan" on Friday that Davis had a "pretty serious" injury and could be out for a while.

"Unfortunately, I think he's looking at a pretty serious injury that could take him out for some period of time," Jones said. "We don't have the final details, we'll know more, but certainly so disappointed for Malik. Obviously tough for our team, but like anything it's next man up."

Fantasy Impact:

Williams loses the primary threat to his workload and could now handle more passing-down and change-of-pace work in addition to his established early-down role. Demercado becomes the immediate backup and a deep-league contingency stash, while Abanikanda will likely be elevated for Sunday. Sources: RB D’Andre Swift and the Chicago Bears have reached agreeement on a 3-year, $33.75 million extension that includes $27.5M guaranteed. This is now Swift’s third NFL contract.
