D'Andre Swift clears concussion protocol

According to Ian Rapoport on Twitter, Detroit Lions rookie running back D'Andre Swift has been cleared from the league's concussion protocol.

There was some confusion earlier today when interim head coach Darrell Bevell stated that Swift was still in the league's protocol despite practicing for over a week, but it appears that he has now been officially cleared. It seems that Swift was in the latter stages of the protocol but was slow to get past the final hurdle to being cleared. Swift should be cleared to play Bears on Sunday. He is reportedly dealing with an illness but has been removed from the team's injury report.
