Given the status of the team overall right now, including how there is no timetable for QB Jayden Daniels (elbow) to come back, there probably isn't a need to rush McLaurin back into action. While the season isn't officially lost just yet, it could mean the team devotes more time to looking at a guy like Lane, for example.

Rams WR Puka Nacua was scheduled to have a scan for rib injury, McVay said.

The post added that McVay said he feels, “optimistic…in regard to where we’re potentially heading.” It sounds like the Rams think Nacua will be good to go for Week 10, which is an away game at San Francisco in the later Sunday window. But, it will be worth checking back in with the scan results, and also see what Nacua's practice status is like this week.

Tommy Rees will take over Browns play-calling duties

For the second year in a row, Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski is giving up play-calling to his offensive coordinator.

Coming out of the bye, Stefanski announced in his Monday press conference that Tommy Rees will take over offensive play-calling moving forward.

Fantasy Impact:

Stefanski said the bye week allowed him to look at things, and he felt like Rees gives the offense a good chance to improve. “I just felt like it was the right time for this,” Stefanski said. The story added Gabriel will remain the starting QB.

When we last saw Judkins he left his Week 8 game early with a shoulder injury, but was given a day to day tag following that contest. It's great news Judkins is back at practice leading up to this week's game, and we'll certainly keep an eye on Wednesday's injury report. The Browns are traveling to play the Jets in Week 10.
