Eagles running back Saquon Barkley popped up on Monday’s practice report with a knee injury and was estimated as a non-participant.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Barkley has “general soreness” and expects to play in Thursday Night Football against the Giants.
Barkley was listed as a DNP for Monday ahead of Thursday night's game against his former team, the Giants. Ironically, Barkley's snap percentage has been down from last year. The story pointed out Barkley played 85% of the snaps through this point last year compared to 72% this season.
Kyler Murray (foot) will be monitored.

Murray was seemingly injured on the play where the snapped ball hit him in the face and the Cardinals lost possession. Murray was shown heading for the locker room but was able to return for the team's next possession after missing a couple of plays. One would assume Murray will be good to go for Week 6, but since the team is monitoring him, we will as well.

This will be one to watch on a short week against the Giants. Barkley hasn't been much of a factor in the run game this season after going over 2,000 yards last year. He did catch a TD pass in Week 5's loss to the Broncos. We'll keep an eye on this one. If Barkley can't go on a short week, Dillon and Shipley will likely split the workload and Bigsby could be a factor as well.
