Buccaneers WRs Mike Evans, Jalen McMillan 'in play' for Week 15

The Buccaneers are leaving the door open for three offensive players to return to action against the Falcons on Thursday night.

Head coach Todd Bowles said at a Monday press conference that wide receiver Mike Evans, left tackle Tristan Wirfs and wide receiver Jalen McMillan are “in play” to be in the lineup in Week 15.

Fantasy Impact:

Evans and McMillan both returned to practice last week and will need to be activated from injured reserve to play in the game. Evans has been out since fracturing his clavicle in Week 7 while McMillan has missed the entire season with a neck injury, the story points out. It will be more weapons for Mayfield heading down the stretch of the season and for the fantasy playoffs. The top three should remain Evans, Godwin and Edbuka but Edbuka hasn't posted more than 45 receiving yards since Week 10.

Browns to stick with QB Shedeur Sanders rest of season

Browns coach Kevin Stefanski says Shedeur Sanders is his starting quarterback for the rest of the season. "He has constantly and consistently gotten better."

Stefanski added he likes the way Sanders has approached the game and he's been working hard. In his four appearances, three of which were starts, Sanders has completed 52.4 percent of his passes for 769 yards with five TDs and three INTs. In Sunday’s loss, Sanders was 23 for 42 for 364 yards with three TDS and an INT. He also ran three times for for 29 yards and a TD. Sanders and the Browns travel to take on the Bears in Week 15 followed by the Bills in Week 16, and those could be tougher matchups. The Browns have the Steelers and Bengals to close out the season.

Colts not sure if QB Anthony Richardson (orbital fracture) will return this season

With Colts starting quarterback Daniel Jones out for the season after tearing an Achilles tendon on Sunday, the next question becomes whether Anthony Richardson will be able to step in.

Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Richardson — who suffered an orbital fracture prior to the Week 6 game against the Cardinals — has not been cleared to return. Moreover, the Colts don’t know when or if he’ll be cleared at any point in 2025.

Richardson’s injury was the result of a freak accident with an exercise band. With Richardson's status unknown, it looks like Leonard will get the start. Rypien is on the practice squad, according to the story. On Sunday, the emergency option was tight end Tyler Warren, the story went on to say.

Fantasy Impact:

Normally anyone in concussion protocol doesn't have a great chance to play in the following week's game, but the Cowboys had another Thursday night game in Week 14, so Lamb will get some extra days to try and get cleared. The Cowboys play on Sunday night in Week 15 against the Vikings, so fantasy owners will want to follow closely to see how Lamb progresses this week. Hopefully fantasy owners will have a better idea of his status before the first kickoff Sunday. But if Lamb is out, Flournoy and Turpin could see a bigger workload at the WR position behind Pickens.
